Meeting You

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat at the Google IO conference these past couple of days! It was great to actually meet people in person that I've spoken with on the forum and over email. The conference was a huge success for Google (obviously), and GQueues as well, and I'm really excited about planning the next steps for GQueues for the coming months.

If you're interested in hearing how companies have found success on the Google Apps Marketplace, below is the video for the session I co-presented at the conference. Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead, starts with an overview, and I share the GQueues experience about 18:30 minutes in, followed with some tips from Dito and Assistly.

  1. Hey Cameron,

You may not remember me, but I used to be active in the GQueues Google Group and also offered some suggestions during your development that you implemented (probably would have done so anyway!). Then I bought a year-long membership and let it lapse.

Just wanted to let you know I've reconsidered that decision and renewed Pro membership today -- the critical factors were that you now have offline mobile capability and also I love how Gqueues can be used to make a rotating queue of items simply by setting all tasks in a queue to the the repeating cycle daily by Due Date. Then clicking the top (or any) item puts it at the bottom of the list.

That works for me and that's all I'm using it for at the moment -- still with just a fraction of its capabilities, it was worth the upgrade fee.

I hope you're making money with your GQueues venture!
